Maleopimaric anhydride is an important kind of rosin derivatives, because itsmolecular structure does not contain conjugated double bond, so the Malay pimaricacid anhydride has the advantage that the rosin modified and makes up the defectof the rosin modified.Lanthanum maleopimaric and cerium maleopimaric weresynthesized with maleopimaric anhydride as raw material. The main contents andresults were summarized as follows:1) Lanthanum maleopimaric prepared with maleopimaricanhydride.Maleopimaric acid was synthesized from maleopimaric anhydride inhigh pressure reaction kettle,With the discuss of single factor condition inexperiment, the optimum reaction condition were certained as follows:n(maleopimaric acid):n(lanthanum acetate)=1:1.8, at60℃for6h, the yield ofMPALa could over95%. The content of lanthanum in MPALa was determined byEDTA complexometric titration and Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic EmissionSpectrometry (ICP-AES). The structures of MPALa was analysised andcharacterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FT-IR), Scanningelectron microscope (SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis (EDAX),X-ray diffraction (XRD) and TG-DSC.2)Cerium maleopimaric prepared with maleopimaric anhydride.With the discussof single factor condition in experiment,the optimum reaction condition werecertained as follows: n(maleopimaric acid):n(cerium acetate)=1:1.8, at60℃for6h, the yield of MPACe could over95%. The result show that Lanthanum maleopimarate andCerium maleopimaric has better thermal stability,and also has good synergisticeffect with calcium stearate.4)Study the catalyst of synthesis of rosin glyceride that the lanthanummaleopimaric and cerium maleopimaric as catalyst.The result show that lanthanummaleopimaric and cerium maleopimaric on maleopimaric acid rosin glycerin estersynthesis has good catalytic activity.
