Researeh On The Relationship Between Economic Growth And Environmental Shstainable Development In Sichuan Province

Since the market economy mechanism identified in China, the social and economic have been rapidly developed in Sichuan Province, and people’s living standards have been greatly improved. Sichuan province currently has just entered the middle stage of industrialization, economic development is still mainly rely on the extensive mode of high input, high consumption, high emissions. Such a development approach inevitably brought about a series of ecological and environmental problems, such as excessive PM2.5, acid rain, soil water pollution, greenhouse effect, caused to people’s lives more seriously affected. So, to find out the deeper causes of ecological and environmental problems occur and achieve harmonious development between human and nature, human and society. This is an important issue that Sichuan province and the country in the future development must be solved.Eco-Marxist theoretical perspective provides us with the right ideas to explore the causes of ecological and environmental problems and solutions. Ecological Marxism not only help us to understand deeper causes of environmental problems in modern society, and to explore the fundamental way to solve the ecological crisis, and help us deal with our environmental problems encountered in modern practice. Eco-Marxism also will help us establish a correct outlook on development, consumer attitudes, technology concept and happiness concept, promote the building of a socialist harmonious society.Based on the existing eco-Marxist theories and viewpoints at home and abroad, the paper integrated use of dialectic, contrast and theory with practical ways to explore a road to achieve sustainable development between economic and environmental in Sichuan. Therefore, the study of this article has practical and theoretical value.This paper analyzes the relationship between economic growth and environmental sustainable development in Sichuan Province through using the ecological Marxist theory. Innovations of this paper are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:Firstly, using of the eco-Marxist theory innovatively. Secondly, the research perspective is new and innovative. Thirdly, by constructing the EKC equation, analyzing the relationship between economic growth and environmental quality of Sichuan province from1996to2010.This article includes the following five parts:The first chapter is an introduction, describes the background, purpose, meaning and methods of this study, and the possible innovations and shortcomings, and the current research on this issue.The second chapter is an overview of the ecological Marxist theory.The third chapter introduces the current situation of economic development and severe environmental problems in Sichuan Province, then by constructing environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) equation, in order to explore the relationship between economic growth and ecological environment in Sichuan Province.The fourth chapter analyzes the ecological harmony of the socialist market economy in Sichuan Province based on the perspective of ecological Marxism.The fifth chapter is the ultimate point of this article, that is using the Eco-Marxist theoretical views, from some aspects such as transforming the development concept and mode, changing the way the modern consumer, to strengthen government regulation and improve the ecological environment protection laws and regulations, in order to put forward relevant policy recommendations for Sichuan ultimately.
