| Lean methane is the main combustible organic components in the coal bed which will not only intensify the greenhouse effect but aslo cause great mine tragedy. In this work, the preparation of Cu-Mn/cordierite catalyst and its performance evaluation on catalytic combustion of lean methane was studied. Then select the best catalyst and carry out the intrinsic kinetic experiments on it. Finally, the intrinsic kinetic modle of lean methane catalytic combustion on Cu-Mn/cordierite catalyst was gotten..Based on the load method of single metal-oxide catalyst preparation which was informed research, the Cu-Mn/cordierite catalyst prepared with different Cu/Mn proportions, active component load method, active component loading, and the effect of additive was researched by performance evaluation and SEMã€TPRã€XPS characterization methods. The results showed that,12%Cu-Mn/6%ZrO2/γ-Al2O3/cordierite has the better performance on catalytic combustion of lean methane, which was preared by wetness impregnation with active component Cu:Mn was1:1.The intrinsic kinetic experiments of the catalytic combustion of lean methane on Cu-Mn/cordierite catalyst were carried out in an integral reactor under the conditions of p=0.1MPa, t=500-700℃and feed compositions of CH4=0.1%-1%. The content change of each material in the process of lean methane catalytic combustion was detected by mass spectrometry measuring. On the basis of above experiment results, the catalytic combustion reaction mechanism was investigated, and the intrinsic kinetic modle was established. The model parameters were estimated by means of Simplex optimal method. Statistical test and histogram-normality test showed that the kinetic model is highly acceptable and reliable. |
