Coke dry quenching(CDQ) is an energy-saving, environment-friendly coke quenching system. It is the use of relatively low temperature and coke on inert gas (commonly known as recycle gas) with the hot coke heat, so that the hot coke was cooled. Circulating gas absorbs hot coke heat, into the CDQ boiler and heat to generate steam in the boiler. Be in CDQ boiler circulating gas cooled by the circulation fan to drum into the dry quenching furnace, to continue exchange of heat with the hot coke.Dry quenching furnace of recycle gas in nitrogen, and the amount of hydrogen gas and carbon monoxide. In the actual production operation process, must be controlled in the recycle gas inflammable and explosively dragon and carbon monoxide content, in order to prevent the occurrence of danger. There are two ways to control the recycle gas content, respectively, to the recycle gas filling nitrogen and the into the air. If long time filling nitrogen will not only increase the production cost, but also will affect the boiler’s steam generating capacity; if long time into the air will not only make the dry quenching boiler entrance temperature is too high, causing damage to equipment, but also increase the coke burning capacity, reduce the economic benefits.This article mainly through experiment, to the dry quenching furnace charged nitrogen amount is variable, selected four process control points, respectively, different process control points under the coke loss amount, steam generating capacity, utilization amount of nitrogen. The selected four process control points:first, the greatest degree to the dry quenching furnace with nitrogen, dilution hydrogen and carbon monoxide in the recycle gas, at the same time into a proper amount of air, meet the process on the requirements of recycle gas’s content, get the coke burning rate is the lowest in the comprehensive benefits. Two, only to the dry quenching furnace into the air, meet the process on the composition of recycle gas’s content, get coke burning rate is the highest in the comprehensive benefit. Three, according to the dry quenching boiler entrance temperature maximum into the air, subsequently filling nitrogen with an appropriate amount, meet the process on composition of recycle gas’s content, get the process control point on the comprehensive benefits. Four, the existing control process through the cost-effectiveness analysis, get the comprehensive benefits on the current process.A comparison of the four process control points the comprehensive benefits analysis of coke burning volume, nitrogen consumption and power generation to comprehensive benefits contribution degree, determine the optimal amount of filling nitrogen and the optimal amount of into the air. Research show that:give priority to into the air to reduce the content of hydrogen and carbon monoxide in recycle gas, so that CDQ power generation can reach the maximum degree on the same conditions, benefits of power generation can be significantly improve; when CDQ boiler entrance temperature over950℃,using filling nitrogen and reduce into the air, reduce to the entrance temperature of the CDQ boiler, when the entrance temperature drop to940℃of the CDQ boiler, stop filling nitrogen, continue to use the into the air to meets the process of recycle gas’s requirements. This process control method is the highest on economic benefits. Using the method, further realization of the CDQ process optimization, the economic benefit of CDQ has been improved.
