| In the modern science, coordination chemistry has been one of the new researcharea of crystallization chemistry, materials chemistry, inorganic chemistry and organicchemistry. At the same time, complexes in coordination chemistry are the mostpopular for the new functional materials. Especially, the complexes are constructed bymulti-nitrogen heterocyclic ligands. The coordination compounds with novel structureand superior performance have been aroused widespread concerns. In this paper, seven new coordination compounds based on a series ofmulti-nitrogen heterocyclic ligands1,10-phenanthroline–5,6-dione(DN),[dipyrido[3,2-a:2’,3’-c] phenazine(DPPZ), and Imidazo [4,5-f][1,10] phenanthroline (BIP)along with aromatic carboxylic acid, have been prepared by the reactions withmetal(II) ions in different conditions. The main results are as follows:1.One new complex, namely,[Cd(DN)(HBTC)]2·H2O(1) has been synthesizedwith N-containing ligands DN and H3BTC as mixed ligands.Four new complexes,namely,[Cd(DPPZ)(HBTC)]2·2H2O(2),[Cu(DPPZ)(HBTC)]2n·nH2O(3),[Zn(DPPZ)(HBTC)]·7H2O(4),[Co2(DPPZ)4(HBTC)2](5).were successfully obtained by introducingN-containing ligands DPPZ and H3BTC as mixed ligands.2. One new complex, namely,[Cd3(DPPZ)3(PIDC)2]n·nH2O(6) was received byDPPZ and H3PIDC.One new complex, namely,[Cd(BIP)(HPIDC)(H2O)]2n(7) hasbeen synthesized with N-containing ligands BIP and H3PIDC as mixed ligands. All the coordination popymers have been determined by the X-ray single crystaldiffraction analysis, elemental analysis, IR spectra, thermal analysis and properties. The study indicates that complexes1,4,6,7exhibits intense luminescent properties. So they can be used luminescent materials. |
