| Nano-TiO2photocatalyst became the most widely studied of today’s new type ofsemiconductor material because of its good thermal stability, conductivity of electricity andgood redox advantages, which is used for most kinds of industrial waste water treatment agentin order to achieve environmentally sound and the recycling of wastewater. However, as aresult of the structure of the pure TiO2has defect which cannot be widely put into productionin practical application. The topic for this problem on the basis of the previous studiesconducted on the four elements TiO2photocatalyst doped research to simulate dye wastewatertreatment as the main object of modified TiO2catalytic activity.Select sol-gel Fe, N, La and Ce co-doped nano-TiO2photocatalyst to degradate methylorange simulation dye wastewater as a probe reaction, through orthogonal test method toresearch different influence factors on the co-doped photocatalyst activity. The results showedthat the best doping amount was x(Ti):x(Fe):x(N):x(La):x(Ce)=1:0.2%:10%:0.05%:0.1%,calcination temperature of550℃for2.5h. Dosing5g/L catalyst at70mg/L of methylorange solution, UV degraded3h, the catalyst activity up to45.85%.FT-IR, electron microscope, SEM, XRD and EDS were employed to characterize Fe, N,La, Ce co-doped TiO2photocatalysts, it indicated that the anatase type TiO2photocatalystwith good surface spherical structure and nano-level particles activity, TiO2particles had anideal small size and absorbency under the550℃calcination. Fe, N, La, Ce successfullyimproved the activity of TiO2.Series of applied research for Fe, N, La and Ce doped TiO2photocatalyst showed thatthe modified TiO2photocatalytic degradation reaction consistents with a first-order kineticequation. Degradation of10mg/L of Alizarin red solution better than the degradation ofmethylene blue, methyl orange, alizarin red dye and mixed dyes. Sol-gel preparation ofphotocatalyst has higher activity than the impregnation method. Fe, N, La and Ce co-dopedTiO2photocatalyst has good photocatalytic activity under visible light, and direct sunlight cangreatly improve its visible light activity. Add0.3%H2O2can further grow the effect inphotocatalyst.By comparing the different element doped TiO2photocatalyst activity found that fouryuan doped TiO2than unary, binary and ternary doping has higher photocatalytic activity. |
