With the rapid development of the Logistics industry, a substantial increase in usage of pallet, wood pallets will remain the dominant position in the pallet market for a long time. Due to the characteristics of the wood, there are a lot of wood pallets shortcomings limit its usage and development. To change the characteristics of the wood through make heat treatment, thereby improving the performance of wood pallets. Research also has important significance to improve the heat treatment of wood pallets by bending strength and stiffness, enhance environmental protection of wooden pallets, saving wood consumption, and improve usage efficiency of wood.To sum up the design flow of wood pallets, by bearing performance requirements and influencing factors analysis of wood pallets. Analysis of the mechanical performance of the wood pallet, summed up under the condition of centralized and uniform load of plank and stringers bending strength and bending stiffness, After compared and analysis, we found that the requirement of pallet plank centralized condition on the bending strength is more than two times than uniform loaded condition, the bending stiffness on centralized condition is slightly larger than uniform loaded condition; the requirement of pallet stringers centralized condition on the bending strength is same with uniform loaded condition, the bending stiffness on centralized condition is much larger than uniform loaded condition.The paper select oak wood as experimental sample, the moisture content was calculated were16.92%of the sample in plank and stringers. Divided into three sample groups for plank and stringers samples according to the detection result of the stress wave, then using150癈,175℃,200℃,225℃,250℃,275℃temperature to make heat treatment of the sample, heat treatment under various temperature conditions were lOmin,20min,30min,60min,90min,120min,150min,180min. The sample after the heat treatment on the mechanical properties of the mechanical testing machine and measured for flexural strength and calculated modulus of elasticity.Experimental results show that, for plank samples, the flexural strength without heat treatment is closest after heat treatment175℃, the modulus of elasticity without heat treatment is closest after heat treatment150℃, Combined with pallets plank in a centralized and uniform load bending strength and stiffness conditions of optimal heat treatment condition was175℃-60min.For stringers samples, the flexural strength without heat treatment is closest after heat treatment175℃, the modulus of elasticity without heat treatment is closest after heat treatment150℃, combined with pallets stringers in a centralized and uniform load bending strength and stiffness conditions of optimal heat treatment condition was175℃-60min.Oak wood pallets optimal heat treatment conditions are175℃-60min. The sample bending strength and stiffness of the plank and stringers under heat treatment could meet the requirement for centralized and uniform loaded.
