The Xing6East Block has been entered ultra-high water cut stage now. Measures of oiland water wells to reduce the comprehensive water cut, improve the recovery efficiency,guarantee the stability of production is of great significance. Based on fully understanding thegeological characteristics and development situation of Xing6East Block, the structuremodel, sedimentary facies model and properties model under the condition of the sedimentaryfacies are built using Petrel combining with the digitized interpretation result of sedimentaryfacies. The separate zone water flooding history matching is conducted by Eclipse and thereservoir geological parameters are further revised. Based on history matching, the planesandstone and vertical oil layer use condition and remaining oil distribution are calculatedand analyzed. Based on the analysis on the influencing factors of remaining oil distribution,the causes and types of remaining oil in the test area are summarized. The remaining oil oftest area is divided into six types and the different types of remaining oil are quantified.The principles of selecting well and layer for different measures are considered and themeasures has been taken for different types of remaining oil combining with the geologicalcharacteristics and development situation of Xing6East Block. The development effects ofsubdivisional water injection, wells acidification, profile modification for injection wells andreservoir fracturing, reperforating, water plugging for producing wells are calculatedrespectively by using numerical simulation method. The development effects of the differentadjusting measures for different types of remaining oil potential are compared and theeffective measures for different types of remaining oil is got. The results show thatsubdivisional water injection can improve the recovery factor of remaining oil of thin andpoor reservoir and interlayer interference effectively. Reperforating is effective for remainingoil of retention area and imperfect injection-production relationship. Fracturing and acidizingcan develop remaining oil of thin and poor reservoir effectively. Water plugging is able toincrease recovery factor of the remaining oil of interlayer interference and thin and poorreservoir effectively. Profile modification can make the remaining oil of interlayer and planeinterference used effectively. The recovery of using comprehensive adjustment measures canbe increased by1.25percent. In this paper, the study on different types of remaining oil andthe measures provides favorable basis for the future development and adjustment of oilfield.
