With the industrial development of human society, human beings are facing a hugeenergy crisis. As the coal, crude oil and other fossil fuels are running out, the consumption ofthese fossil fuels has caused a serious environmental pollution problem. Semiconductorphotocatalysis, which could utilize the abundant solar energy for water splitting, organicpollutants photodecomposition and carbon dioxide photoreduction, is of great significance tothe world’s new energy exploitation and environmental decontamination. In this thesis, we prepared several heterojunction photocatalysts by a simple chemicaletching method. The photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanningelectron microscopy (SEM), UV-vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy(DRS) and photolumine-scence (PL). The detailed works were summarized as follows:(1) A series of BiOBr/NaBiO3heterostructures were synthesized by a simple chemicaletching method using HBr as etching agents to react with NaBiO3. The prepared sampleswere characterized by XRD, SEM, UV-vis DRS and PL to investigate the structure, morphology, photocatalytic activity and the photocatalytic mechanism of photocatalysts. Thephotocatalytic performance of nP type BiOBr/NaBiO3was evaluated using rhodamic B (RhB)as a model pollutant under visible light illumination. TA-PL probing test and radicalscavenger experiments were used to investigate the mechasim of BiOBr/NaBiO3heterostructure.(2) A series of BiOCl/NaBiO3heterostructures were synthesized by a simple chemicaletching method using HCl as etching agents to react with NaBiO3. The prepared sampleswere characterized by XRD, SEM, UV-vis DRS and PL to investigate the structure, morphology, photocatalytic activity and the photocatalytic mechanism of photocatalysts. Thephotocatalytic performance of nP type BiOCl/NaBiO3was evaluated using RhB as a modelpollutant under visible light and UV light illumination. TA-PL probing test and radicalscavenger experiments were used to investigate the mechasim of BiOCl/NaBiO3heterostructure.(3) A series of BiOI/NaBiO3heterostructures were synthesized by a simple chemicaletching method using HI as etching agents to react with NaBiO3. The prepared samples werecharacterized by XRD, SEM, UV-vis DRS and PL to investigate the structure, morphology, photocatalytic activity and the photocatalytic mechanism of photocatalysts. Thephotocatalytic performance of Pn type BiOI/NaBiO3was evaluated using RhB as a model pollutant under visible light illumination. TA-PL probing test and radical scavengerexperiments were used to investigate the mechasim of BiOI/NaBiO3heterostructure.
