In the system of heterocyclic compounds, with excellent spectroscopy andelectrochemical properties, porphyrin and its derivatives with Schiff Base occupy animportant position, and therefore is widely used in fluorescent chemical sensors,electroluminescent device analytical chemistry and many other fields. We designed andsynthesized25kinds of porphyrin and its derivatives in this paper, including11kinds ofsymmetrical porphyrin derivatives,14kinds of asymmetrical porphyrin derivatives,11kindsof metal complexes,9kinds of porphyrin Schiff Base or its metal coordination compounds,and there are10kinds of porphyrin derivatives are new compounds which have not beenreported in the literature.Tetraphenylporphyrin and4kinds of its derivatives are synthesized by the reaction ofnitration, reduction,metallation using benzaldehyde and pyrrole as the starting materials.Using the three aminophenyl porphyrin condensation with different aromatic aldehydes tosynthesize9kinds of porphyrin Schiff Base.4kinds of symmetrical porphyrin derivatives are synthesized by the method ofAdler,using different aromatic aldehyde and pyrrole as the starting material.We alsosynthesize6kinds of metal complexes by the reaction of metallation with Co,Mn and1kindof asymmetrical porphyrin derivative by the reaction of sulfonation with concentrated H2SO4.The elemental analysis,1HNMR,IR spectra were used to identify the structures of25kinds of porphyrin and its derivatives.The spectral and electrochemical behaviors of25kinds of porphyrin and its derivativesare studied by the method of UV-Vis spectrum, fluorescence spectrum and cyclicvoltammetry, the results showed:in the UV-Vis spectra and fluorescence spectra,modifingelectro-withdraw groups,electro-donating groups,-CH=N structure on the structure ofporphyrin or coordination with metal ions will cause a red shift of the characteristicabsorption peak,and electro-donating groups have a greater influence than electro-withdrawgroups, coordination with Mn have a greater influence than Co; in the cyclic voltammogramsgraphs, modifing electro-withdraw groups on the structure of porphyrin will make it make itmore difficult to oxidation,easier to reduction, modifing electro-donating groups on thestructure of porphyrin will make it more difficult to reduction,easier to oxidation, modifing-CH=N structure on the structure of porphyrin will make it more difficult to oxidation,easier to reduction, coordination with metal ions will make it more difficult to reduction,easier tooxidation,and coordination with Co have a greater influence than Mn.
