As we all know, coordination polymers have developed from the simple classicsingle-molecule compound Prussian Blue to a variety of structures with multiple channels andcharming multi-dimensional compounds. At the same time, scientists have synthesizedfunctionalized modified organic heterocyclic ligands, made them coordinate with the specialnature of the metal to get novel structures and a variety of potential applications in differentareas. At present, coordination polymers are mainly applied in magnetic, gas storage andseparation, ion exchange and fluorescent materials. Although a lot of coordination polymershave been reported, scientists are still facing great challenges to design and synthesis thepolymers with ideal structures and properties. Now, scientists design and controllablysynthesis target products with attracting applications by analyzing the existing forms andcoordination modes of metal and organic ligands under different reaction conditions.This paper uses common organic ligands (terephthalic acid,1-H-1,2,4-triazole, pyrazole)and cadmium chloride, copper nitrate under solvothermal reaction conditions, we obtainedthree different kinds of novel compounds:[Cd4(trz)5Cl3(DMF)](1),[(CH3)2NH2][Cd2Cl(1,4-BDC)(Trz)2](2),[Cu3(μ3-OH)(μ-pz)3(Hpz)(μ3-NO3)(μ-NO3)](3), andtheir structure and properties were researched. Compound1displays a three-dimensionalnetwork structure formed by μ3-triazole and a variety of coordination modes of chlorine atomswith the metal cadmium. There is a chain formed by cadmium and triazole. Compound2issynthesized under solvothermal conditions by combining terephthalic acid with triazole. Itdisplays good fluorescence properties at room temperature and strong resistance for alkalineenvironment. Compound3is formed layered structure based on three core copper triangularfragment [Cu3(μ3-OH)(μ-Pz)3]2+and shows good properties in the magnetic aspect.
