Energy has been a bottleneck restricting economic development, diversification ofenergy utilization will gradually become the inevitable trend of social development. Oil shaleare also more and more world attention because of it’s rich reserves and high level of energyutilization. Currently, the main uses of oil shale are combustion and carbonization refining, oilshale itself, but due to low oil content and ash characteristics of a large, in the use of theprocess will produce a lot of ash, ash handling and use of these is urgent problems. This paper analyzes the shale ash Ⅰ, Ⅱ(its are produced by Dragon Mining Group underthe jurisdiction of Cogeneration) traits, access Huadian Power International Co., fly ashcomparative analysis and focuses on the analysis of shale ash Ⅰ, Ⅱin cement, concreteapplications. Thesis studies the following aspects:Shale ash traits analyzed, compared with fly ash,we found that shale ash Ⅰ,Ⅱ mostlyirregularly shaped particles of debris, no bead-like particles; higher shale ash Ⅰ,Ⅱ in CaO andSiO2content and the content of Al2O3lower than fly ash. and the shale ash as calcium ash, it’sactivity index higher than fly ash; shale ash Ⅰ,Ⅱ mineral composition of quartz, feldspar, followed by a small amount of aluminum silicate mineral magnetite, zeolite etc, excludingmullite, and it’s quartz content are more than fly ash; Ground handling can improve two kindsof shale ash and fly ash fineness and particle size distribution, and it will release the solubleSiO2and Al2O3in shale ash and fly ash, increasing its activity index.Application of shale ash in cement were found under the same grinding time, with theshale ash Ⅰ,Ⅱ content increased from shale ash cement which fineness increased, and waterdemand standard consistency increased, coagulation time prolonged,28d strength decreasedsignificantly. when the content reaches50%, mixed with shale ash Ⅰ, Ⅱ shale ash cementsample’s strength is still able to reach the national standard (GB/T175-2007)32.5ash Cementstandards.Shale ash in concrete were found in the same slump under the control of the situation, withthe shale ash Ⅰ,Ⅱ content increased, the congcrete’s required water-cement ratio are graduallyincreases which were prepared by shale ash Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and it’s strength decreases. Shale ash mixedwith30%of the net pulp sample comparison with fly ash cement paste specimens can be found, the3d,7d and28d mineral composition of cement paste with fly ash samples are similar. But its3d,7d and28d cement dense are worse than the fly ash net pulp sample, and it’scorresponding to the3d,7d,28d strength of the concrete.Application of shale ash aerated concrete were found under the control of the samedensity, when the aerated concrete were preparated by shale ash Ⅰ and Ⅱ, the required ratioof water greater than the Fly preparation of aerated concrete, aluminum content is smaller.Collaborative shale ash and slag incorporation, the dry density of aerated concrete blockpreparated by shale ash Ⅰ and Ⅱ will increase with the mineral powder mixing ratioincreasing, and its intensity will also decrease. And the slag dosage should not exceed40%.Microscopic analysis revealed that block hydration products prepared by the shale ash are:tobermorite, C-S-H, water garnet, etc. Which were not different from the aerated concretewhich was made by fly ash Under the same high-temperature and pressure.
