For cost-effective municipal sludge drying problem, we proceed from municipal sludgedrying characteristics, the use of drum drying capacity, simple structure; boiling heat of thedrying efficiency energy-saving features, will combine their strengths to develop and designa new boiling stir sludge dryer drum.First of all, by the individual in the process of stirring mixing blade mechanica lanalysis, established the mechanical model of agitating shaft. And the maximumtorque point of the stirring shaft were calculated, and provide the basis for the stirringshaft finite element simulation. Meanwhile, the static simulation and modal analysis of theagitating shaft.Analysis of idle and two kinds of state, stirring shaft stress size anddistribution,and verify the stirring shaft is lower than the material allowable stress valueofstress. The stirring shaft by modal analysis to verify the rotational speed of the agitatorshaft speed far below the frontage of the first order, the stirring shaft resonance phenomeno ndoes not occur. Secondly, the use of finite element software ANSYS dryer cylinder staticssimulation. In idle state the role and work, come to the cylinder and distribution of stress.according to analysis of the situation,the need to optimize the design of the cylinder wallthickness. Under the circumstances meet the strength and stiffness to the cylinder in order tooptimize the quality of the lightest target, using MOGA that obtained after multiple objectivegenetic algorithm to optimize the quality of the barrel to reduce, reduce manufacturing costs,equipment rationalization.Finally, the use of Fluent software and uses a standard k-ε turbulence model to simulatethe drying field single-phase flow, respectively, derived its temperature, velocity andpressure field distribution. Simulation results show that the drying temperature insula tio nperformance venue, the area around the two agitator shaft speed changes significantly, gradient phenomenon. These results help to optimize the design of the late dryer cylinderprovided.
