Nanofilms can be classified into two categories: monolayer and multilayer films. Nanofilm iscomposed of nanoparticles or thickness of thin film is at the nanoscale. Because owning the unusualapplication value which are leaded by the special physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials,Nanofilms showes wide application prospect in the information, biotechnology, energy, environmentalprotection, national defense, aerospace and other fields.Molecular self-assembly system as a method ofpreparation of nanofilm has been widely used in the field of biotechnology and nanotechnology. Thin filmwhich is formed by molecular self-assembly has very high orderliness and high directivity. Self-assemblyfilms which are made by biological molecular have potential application value in the drug release, catalyticfunctions, biological sensors, microelectronics devices and other fields, and films play very important rolein the basic research on the complex interaction in the nature. Self-assembly nanometer film technologywith the rapid development involve in many areas, including the self-assembly films of nanoparticles,assembly of long polymer chain molecular, self-assembly based on molecular recognition in biology and soon.Although the technology of self-assembled film has a breakthrough in the basic research, many of whichstill remain untouched. Especially studying the technology in the field of development and application isstill tiny. In this study, both technology and performance about self-assembly nanometer film ofpolysaccharide are studied for laying a good foundatin of the future application.Polysaccharide, which has a variety of biological activity of the polymer, can be extracted fromvarious plants and animals. It sustains life as an important part of the body, and provides a source of energyfor life activities. Polysaccharide, as a kind of safety, environmental protection, pollution-free naturalbiological material, has the founction to prevent and improve a variety of diseases, such as low immunitycaused by poor health, complex condition caused by a variety of reasons. Nanofilm which is made ofpolysaccharide has huge potential application in biomedical development due to the development andawarenes of polysaccharide is becoming more and more profound. Therefore the production process andapplication of polysaccharide material of everyday life is worthy of our in depth exploration andresearching.In this article, according to the single molecular chain length of polysaccharide we invented atechnology of measuring the relative molecular of polysaccharide by AFM technology, laying thefoundation for later research of polysaccharide. Second, we mainly explore the preparation of the chitosannanometer film by self-assembly, the preparation of the xanthan nanometer film by self-assembly and thepreparation of the composite nanometer film which are composed of gold and xanthan gum byself-assembly. All films are chatactered by AFM. Chitosan and xanthan, with favorable biomedicalproperties, are concerned by all walks of life. At the same time, because nanometer materials are widelyused in many fields for their unique physical and chemical properties, we hope that nanometerfilm ofpolysaccharide with different morphology were made by the technology of self-assembly to lay thefoundation for studying the application of this films. Finally, we study the the some nature of nanometer film of polysaccharide.In the experiments, the main works are listed as follows:1. Chitosan as a representative of the polysaccharide is choosed as simple. We can produce single moleculechaines of chitosan by sample preparation, get the simple morphology by AFM technology and statistic all the chain length, then calculate the relative molecular mass.2. Prepare nnaometerfilms by molecular self-assembly, including xanthan nanometer film, chitosannanometer film, composite nanometer film which are composed of gold and xanthan gum.3. Prepare xanthan network and study influence on polysaccharide fiber structure which are caused by salt,temperature, water.
