With the deeper development of oil and gas exploration and development, the construction of oil and gas well drilling in high temperature and high pressure formation probability also increases gradually, technical problems encountered by also increased accordingly, especially under the condition of high temperature, because of the various components of oil-base drilling fluid will be degraded, thickening, gelling, solidifying changes, such as lead to drilling fluid performance change greatly, and not easy to adjust and control, serious when will lead to drilling operations from otherwise normal operations, and increase material under the gravity are prone to settlement, and cause downhole leakage, sticking, well control and the difficulty of the cementing operation.Therefore, how to solve the problem of oil-base drilling fluid performance, is the top issue facing the deep well, ultra deep well drilling fluid technology.This paper to explore the resistance to high temperature and high density oil-based drilling fluid settling stability as the core, the first study treating agent, temperature, density, rheology and stability of mud sedimentation relationship;Analyzes the main factors affecting the stability of resistance to high temperature and high density oil-based drilling fluid settlement;Settlement on the stability of mechanics model is set up;Analysis and research on the influence and restrict factors of oil-base drilling fluid sedimentation stability;The effective ways to improve oil-base drilling fluid retrogradation and technical measures;Resistance to high temperature and high density oil-based drilling fluid selection and design for the system provides the basis, to improve the efficiency of the exploration and development of high temperature deep well to provide technical support.Try to adopt dynamic settlement stability detection method, to carry out the oil-base drilling fluid dynamic subsidence stability test, through the indoor experiment, determine the various treatment agent, temperature, density, rheology and stability of mud sedimentation relationship;Applied experimental data, evaluation, analysis, explore the guarantee or improve the high density of settlement of oil-base drilling fluid performance measures or ways;According to non-newtonian fluid mechanics principle, the establishment of oil-base drilling fluid mechanics model retrogradation;Then system optimized formulation.
