With the development of society, the environment is becoming increasingly serious. Theindustrial phenolic wastewater treatment is a major problem to be solved in the field ofenvironmental protection. Recently, through domestic and international study found, Catalyticwet oxidation technology in the treatment of high concentration and degradable organicindustrial wastewater with high efficiency and high stability. The preparation of the catalyst iscritical to the wet catalytic oxidation technology. So, how to prepare an effective catalyst,made it can completely degrade industrial phenolic wastewater to carbon dioxide and water,has an important significance. In this paper, a systematic study of the catalytic wet oxidationof phenol in the treatment of industrial wastewater applications, select diatomaceous earth asa carrier, the metal oxide as the active component, to prepare three supported catalysts,andmade the phenol wastewater objects as degradation,then investigate the catalytic properties ofthe prepared catalysts.First, using the diatomaceous earth as a carrier, Fe as the active load component, selectsthe most appropriate preparation conditions, The results show that the impregnation solutionFe (NO3)3at a concentration of0.2mol/L, temperature is30℃, the immersion time is8h,after drying and baking, roasting temperature is300℃, calcination time4h.Then use theobtained catalyst to deal with50mg/L of phenol wastewater.and the reaction temperature isset at30℃, the reaction time is1h, after treatment, the removal rate of wastewater COD is75%.Fe2O3/Diatomite catalyst was prepared by selecting Ce as doping agent to improve thecatalytic activity of Fe2O3/Diatomite. The text prepared Fe2O3-CeO2/Diatomite catalyst usingsecondary impregnation. The preparation of the Fe2O3-CeO2/diatomite applied to the phenolwastewater treatment experiment, The results show that when dealing with the50mg/Lphenol wasterwater, the concentration of cerium nitrate is1.5mol/L, roasting time is4h,calcination temperature400℃, the reaction conditions is the reaction temperature30℃, thereaction time of1h, catalytic activity increased by about15%. Thus, Fe2O3-CeO2/diatomitecatalyst treatment of industrial wastewater containing phenol can significantly improve thetreatment efficiency of the catalyst.The catalyst prepared in this paper for the temperature and pressure in the catalytic wetoxidation process simulation phenol industrial wastewater treatment, and achievedsatisfactory treatment effect. To deal with the50mg/L of phenol wastewater, investigated thewet catalytic oxidation reaction of phenol wastewater treatment process dynamics, kinetic equation is discussed, the results show, Fe2O3/diatomite, Fe2O3-CeO2/diatomite two kindscatalyst corresponding activation energies are42.4167kJ/mol and17.465kJ/mol.
