Electrochemical machining is a kind of anodic oxidation in the process of using electrolytic principle and by means of forming cathode the workpiece in a certain special processing and shaping the shape and size of the processing method. It has huge advantages in processing complex parts made by hard processing material and commonly used in Modalities and mold processing.it has been widely used in the blade and barrel grooves, deep hole, gear, spline and nesting processing, mechanical polishing and deburring of machining parts. The control system, which based on integration of three-axis CNC vertical ECM, was according to developed complex parts ECM control requirements.Based on the distributed processing and control mode, which consists main controller, and processing power control subsystem, electrolyte transport control subsystem, electrolyte heating control subsystem, control subsystem, auxiliary control subsystem level, they were adopted in control system, then all the subsystems were controlled and centralized operated by master controller. The main control system of ECM machine tool including motion control subsystem, electrolyte transport subsystem and processing power system were designed. Data acquisition card and motion control card were used as core control mode, The main control system circuit including system wiring and cabling was designed according to the installation requirements of electrical components, and take the corresponding anti-interference measures making the equipment more stable, safe and reliable. In the end, combining with the hardware design and processing technology, the VB software was used to design the main control system including machine tool programming specification, software control interface design, the design of servo drive parameters and uniaxial alone, multi-axis linkage control, and manual processing, automatic processing and fault diagnosis and other functions were joined according to the practical application of operator.According to the system hardware and software design, the hardware circuit, along with the main control system program and motion control system are testing in the lab. After completion of the debugging, the program and the hardware circuit is used for alignment, Then complete the ECM control system of the joint debugging. ECM control system developed in paper was tested and ECM experiment of razor meso scale multi-grooves in the shavering cap was processed in company. The test results show that this set of equipment operation is stable, reliable and easy to operate, motion positioning accuracy to±0.005mm, meet the parts processing requirements.
