Asymmetric catalytic reaction plays an important role in the study oforganic chemical synthesis, and more and more chemists pay more attention toasymmetric catalysis research. Now the most perfect asymmetric synthesistechnology is the enzyme in organisms. Many researchers use the organic compounds,metal as a catalyst to form the efficient catalysts like enzymes. Asymmetric catalysisis the powerful scientific base of chiral drugs, materials and flavor development.Although we have made great achievements in metal catalyzed asymmetric reactions,many scientists have to face some bigger problems when the time of low carbongreen economy era came. In recent years, small organic molecule catalysts withoutmetal have become the center of attention. To improve the atom utilization, thecatalytic efficiency and reduce energy consumption, we still need to make furtherefforts.Organic amine as organic catalyst without metal has a higher catalytic activity.Many non metal catalyst showed characteristics which is similar enzyme with highefficiency, high selectivity and low toxicity.Proline is the most successful organicamine catalyst which show excellent catalytic characteristics in many reactions.Telaprevir is a polypeptide compound of amino acids, which contains an aminoacid is similar as proline. We image the intermediate of Telaprevir,(1S,3aR,6aS)-octahydrocyclopentene [c] pyrrole-1-1carboxylic acid, has the reactivity. The reseachuse the intermediates of Telaprevir as catalyst for aromatic aldehyde and ketone.1. Through the study of L-ser as catalyst in the reaction of aromatic aldehydesand acetone, we found that the catalytic activity is better for the asymmetric aldolreaction. The reaction was carried out at room temperature, mild reaction conditionand simple treatment operation with good yield. 2. We propose the intermediate of Telaprevir,(1S,3aR,6aS)-octahydrocyclopentene [c] pyrrole-1-1carboxylic acid is similar as proline,intermediates may have excellent catalytic activity. This is the first time theintermediate of Telaprevir,(1S,3aR,6aS)-octahydrocyclopentene [c] pyrrole-1-1carboxylic acid used in aldol condensation reaction. Compared with previouslyasymmetric aldol condensation, our system have many goods, low loading of catalyst,high catalytic efficiency and without adding metal ligand, provided importantreference value for the route for the next academic research and industrialdevelopment.
