In this study, based on high amylase corn starch, the effects of pre-extrusion and the kind of nano-silica on the properties of films from different starch were studied; The film-making parameters of nano-silica/high amylase corn starch film was optimized; The effects of environment friendly acetyl tributyl citrate (ATBC) on the properties of films; stearic acid and surfactants(glycerol monostearate, stearoyl calcium lactate, sodium stearyl lactate, tuwen80, span80) were added to make the films and their properties (most prominently about the water resistance) were investigated and The film-making parameters was rational screened. The results showed that:1. The effects of extrusion and the kind of nano-silica on properties of films from different starch.Nano-silica could improve properties of the films from different starch; extrusion could only improve the properties of the film from waxy corn starch. The film from high amylase corn starch mixed with amphiphilic nano-silica without extrusion showed exhibited enhanced thermal stability; the tensile strength increased by36.18percent, water vapor permeability, elongation at break and light transmittance, decreased by30.9percent,16.7percent and25.9percent, respectively.2. The optimal film-making parameters were as follows:concentration of starch solution of3.85g/100mL, glycerol content of27.6%(W/W starch), nano-silica content of3.80%(W/W starch) and heating temperature was85℃. Under this condition, properties of films were tensile strength11.95MPa, elongation at break25.21%.water vapor permeability1.80×10-12g·cmcm-2·s-1·Pa-1. The mathematic model could exactly forecast comprehensive score of film properties.3. The effects of acetyl tributyl citrate content on properties of films were studied. All performance, acetyl tributyl citrate optimum adding amount was6percent for the film from high amylase corn starch. On this condition, the film’s water vapor permeability was1.52×10-12g·cm·cm-2·s-1·Pa-1, tensile strength was16.07MPa, elongation at break was17.8percent.4. The optimal film-making parameters were as follows:sodium stearyl lactate of content of1.91%(W/W starch), tuwen80content of1.0.6%(W/W starch) and stearic acid content of0.37%(W/W starch).Under this condition, properties of films were tensile strength9.8MPa, elongation at break46.2%, transmittance51.2%,water vapor permeability1.15×10-12g·cm·cm-2·s-1·Pa-1.
