Application Research On Miao Clothing Elements In The Handbag Decoration Design

The Chinese nation is an ancient civilization with more than five thousand years of history. The culture of Miao nationality in China is a splendid one, which has typical regional features and ethnic characteristics,Miao’s dress is not only the crystallization of Chinese civilization, but also a treasure of the world.It offers the creativity to the designer.Through the analysis of its unique dress elements,we can extract and use them to creat and design modern art with national characteristics.It’s a problem to be deal with that how to use the national elements and develop them in this era, which is also the imprtant part of the inheritance and the development of the national culture, and the responsibility of every designer as well.This article is divided into five parts, the first part is the introduction, mainly introduced the selected topic background and significance, research status at home and abroad and so on; the second part is a general introduction to the Miao costumes and Miao costume elements, the third part of the Miao dress color element,process element, pattern design elements of deconstruction and reconstruction of the extension, and obtains the enlightenment and significance of Miao clothing elements to modern handbags decorative design. The fourth part of the Miao costume elements were analyzed in modern handbags decorative design orientation, the last partthrough the practice of designing the costumes of the Miao elements used in handbags decorative design.In this paper, Miao’s dress elements are the research object,based on the research of Miao’s costume elements,color elements,technical elements and pattern elements, and the analysis of the application of them in the handbag decoration design respectively,we can know the method of how to apply them into handbag, and bring out the enlightment and significance of the application,at last, find the problems that we shoul pay attention to when we apply the Chinese traditional costume elements as well. Through the design practice by myself, it proves that the color elements, technical elements and pattern elements can be made together to apply into the handbag decoration design, and this kind of design can be put into the market.
