Polythiophene is a kind of important conductive polymers. It has attracted highattention due to its good environmental stability, high photoelectric performance afterdoping. Now it has become one of the most promising substrates in conductingpolymers. This paper has succeed synthesized water-soluble polymers includepoly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT), poly(3-thiophene)malonic acid(P3TMA),poly(3-thienyloxy)ethanesulfonate(P3TOES), poly(3-thienyl)ethoxybutanesulfonate(PTEBS), poly(3-thienyloxyethanephosphate) by the enzymatic-catalyzed method.Details are as follows:1. HRP as catalyst, hydrogen peroxide as oxidant, PSS as dispersant, the monomerEDOT can synthesize stable aqueous dispersion PEDOT/PSS.2.3-brominethiophene as raw material, react with sodium diethyl malonate underthe catalysis of cuprous bromide, after hydrolyzation,3TMA was synthesized.Water-soluble P3TMA was synthesized by enzymatic-catalyzed using3TMA asmonomer, HRP as catalyst, hydrogen peroxide as oxidant in aqueous system.3.3-methoxy thiophene as raw material, react with2-bromine ethanol synthesize3-(2-bromide)ethoxy thiophene, then3-(2-bromide)ethoxy thiophene react withsodium sulfite synthesize3TOES. Water-soluble P3TOES was synthesized byenzymatic-catalyzed using3TOES as monomer, HRP as catalyst, hydrogen peroxideas oxidant in aqueous system.4.3-brominethiophene as raw material, by grignard reaction, then react withethylene oxide, thienyl ethanol was synthesized. The resultant thienyl ethanol reactwith sodium hydride, follow react with butanesultone, TEBS was synthesized.Water-soluble PTEBS was synthesized by enzymatic-catalyzed using TEBS asmonomer, HRP as catalyst, hydrogen peroxide as oxidant in aqueous system.5.3-methoxy thiophene as raw material, react with2-bromine ethanol synthesize3-(2-bromide)ethoxy thiophene, then based on catalytic nucleophilic substitution withtriethyl phosphite can synthesize (3-thienyloxy)ethanephosphate ester.(3-thienyloxy)ethanephosphate is obtained by hydrolysis. Water-solublepoly(3-thienyloxy)ethanephosphate was synthesized by enzymatic-catalyzed using(3-thienyloxy)ethanephosphate as monomer, HRP as catalyst, hydrogen peroxide asoxidant in aqueous system. The synthetic polymers can be characterized by FTIR, HNMR et al. This paperdiscussed the influence of enzyme catalysis conditions on the polymerization, themechanism of enzyme catalytic polymerization reaction and optimize polymerizationconditions.
