Stope floor water inrush is one of the major problems in coal mine safetyproduction, thus the research of stope floor water resistance property are of greatsignificance to floor water inrush risk assessment and water disaster prevention. Onbasis of composite material mechanics theory,this paper studies the stress distributionlaw and water resistance property of the stope floor which is under the action of manyfactors. At last, according to the specific engineering geology and technologyconditions of10-108work face at Tuanbai coal mine, water inrush analysis isproceeded by numerical simulation method. The main research results are as follows:(1) According to the laminated plate theory, a laminate plate model of stopefloor aquifuge was established and the bending stiffness formula of the floor aquifugewas calculated. Then the stress expressions at any point of the stope floor aquifugewas also obtained. Moreover, a case study was conducted and the reliability oflaminated plate model was verified.(2) Based on the laminate plate mechanical model, we respectively discussed theinfluence of the work face length, the roof falling step distance, the confined waterpressure and the lithological association on the water resisting property of the stopefloor. Then the relationship between horizontal stress difference and water resistingproperty in adjacent layer was researched on basis of the crack vertical propagation,which revealed the influence mechanism of the lithological association on the waterresisting property.(3) Combined with the geological conditions of10-108work face at Tuanbaimine, the paper systematic studied the water barrier properties of the stope floor byusing general plate theory, laminated plate theory and numerical simulation method.Comparative analysis results showed that part of the rock layers at the top and bottomof the stope floor aquifuge were suffered different degrees damage, but other rocklayers maintained the integrity of its rock mass, thus we predicted that there was nofloor water inrush risk at this work face. In addition, the study found that analysisresults of laminated plate theory were more detailed and correspond to numericalsimulation results, which can better reveal the damage state of floor aquifuge.
