After the Stockholm Convention taking effect for China in November11,2004,lots of human, material and financial resources were invested for the related workabout persistent organic pollutants. Because the dioxin-like compounds can dopotential damage to people’s health, these compounds have been included into thekey research projects.Because the principal pathway for people intaking dioxin-like compounds aredietary intake, especially consuming diary products, fish and so on, the contents inthis paper as following: firstly, the milk materials reference were prepared andcertified; secondly, the29kinds of dioxin-like compounds in mixed milk from16provinces in the fifth total dietary study were detected; thirdly, the29kinds ofdioxin-like compounds in32kinds of fish from Zhoushan fishery were also detected.Through above results, we make risk assessment for our residents through consumingdiary products and fish, which can give some advice for us about diet. The main resultsand conclusions were listed as following:1. The natural reference material of PCDD/Fs and dl-PCBs in milk was firstlyprepared and certificated, which includes101bottles. The between-bottlehomogeneity test was made and the results were homogeneous; the stabilities of thePCDD/Fs and dl-PCBs in milk samples were also tested over a period of one year atroom temperature and the results were stabilized. In addition,5laboratories finishedthe certification about this reference material. It was intended to be used for qualitycontrol and method validation in the determination of PCDD/Fs and dl-PCBs in milksamples and it’s like.2. The milk samples of16provinces including Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Hebei,Shanxi, Ningxia, Henan, Shanghai, Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Sichuan, Hubei, Beijng,Hunan, Zhejiang, Qinghai in China were analyzed, the results indicated that the levelsof PCDD/Fs and dl-PCBs in these samples had some difference. In addition, thelevels about dietary intake of PCDD/Fs and dl-PCBs through consuming the studied samples by residents in China were lower, which has no risk.3. The32various fish in Zhoushan fishery which were consumed by the residentsusually were studied, the levels of PCDD/Fs and dl-PCBs in these fish were ofdifference. In addition, the levels about dietary intake of PCDD/Fs and dl-PCBsthrough consuming these fish by residents were lower in all. However, throughconsuming Bullet mackerel, the value had accounted for PTMI of93.73, which hadgreat risk, and the values through consuming other12various fish includingPneumatophorus japonicas, Cephalopholis boenak, Mugil cephalus, Tenualosareevesii, Oplegnathus fasciatus, Pangio kuhlii, Astroconger Myriaster, Anguilli forms,Pampus chinensis, pagrosomus major, Anchoa lucida, Setipinna taty had alsoexceeded10%of PTMI, which also had some risk.
