| Over the past few decades, N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) metal complexes getrapid development in coordination chemistry and metal organic chemistry. In theinitial period, the main research is monodentate NHCs metal complexes. Butmultidentate NHCs can form more stable complexes with metal than monodentate ones.So more people begin to study Multidentate NHCs metal complexes. The thesis focuseson the synthesis of a series of new kinds of multidentate NHC-Ni complexes and theircatalytic property in C-F bond activation. It includes four parts as the following:Chapter1: Introduction of the history of NHCs development, mono/multidentateNHC-Ni complexes, and the progressing of the catalytic activation reaction of C-Fbond.Chapter2: Synthesis of a series of benzimidazolium salts with different bridgingand different anion in toluene solvent at ambient conditions. A series of multidentateNHC-Ni compounds were synthesized by using ionic liquids (Bu4NX) as solvent. Allproducts were characterized by1H NMR,13C NMR, EA and the structures wereconfirmed by X-ray studies.Chapter3: Synthesis of a series of imidazole salts with different bridging anddifferent anion in solvent-free conditions at ambient pressure. And in the dry conditions, nickel multidentate NHCs complexes have been prepared via the imidazole saltsreacting with nickel dichoride when base K2CO3appeared. All products werecharacterized by1H NMR,13C NMR, EA, and the crystals of them were characterizedby X-ray diffraction.Chapter4: The catalytic property of multidentate NHC-Ni complexes in activatingC-F bond reaction was studied. |
