With the difficulty of exploring oil and gas resources increasing, the technologies ofdirectional well and horizontal well are widely used. The technologies of the directionaland horizontal well are gradually changing towards the model of integrated systems andthe cluster wells. The representative of technologies include: module rigs, well plant,recover marine oil on the land. Directional well and horizontal well can solve manypractical problems, so during nowadays, they are the core technologies in oil and gasengineering. Also, we should start from the details, to promote the development of thetechnology, the purpose of this paper is reunification of them.Through analyzing the target areas’ characteristics of directional well and horizontalwell, to establish the relationship between directional and horizontal wells borehole axisand the plane of the target is considered the basis of the target reunification. Borehole axisshould be always perpendicular to the plane target, no matter how the deviation andazimuth angle changed. During the process, the changes of the shape and space location ofthe target can be realized through rotating the transformation matrix of thethree-dimensional matrix and moving the matrix. Establishing the relationship between thetarget parameters and the three-dimensional transformation matrix variables, control thegradual process.Establish a unified mathematical model of target. According to the characteristics ofdirectional and horizontal wells: the allowable range of directional well targets are equalin all directions, so the target area is circular; the transverse dimension of the target area inhorizontal well is longer than the vertical dimension, so the target area is a rectangular oran oval. Establish two mathematic models: the first one is the circular target area whichgradually changes into oval. The other one is the circular target area which graduallychanges into rectangular; Analysis through MATLAB, drawing the gradual process of themiddle adjustment period of the target area and regarding the kickoff point and thewellhead as reference points, drawing gradual graphics of the targets, then analyzing thethree-dimensional model in the Untitled document.According to the theory above, applying Microsoft Visual Basic2008and calling MATLAB, formatting the application of the software which unifies the target area of thedirectional and horizontal well through data exchanging, hybrid programming, it must bean important guiding significance during drilling.
