A series of polycrystalline samples Yb/Er/GZO doped different concentrations ofGa3+、Yb3+、Er3+have been prepared by using high temperature solid state method. TG-DSCis used to analyze and draft the process of presintering craft. Considering the analysis ofX-ray diffraction, the optimal presintering temperature was identified. Upconversionluminescence Spectrum tests and SEM tests were carried out on the obtainedpolycrystalline samples Yb/Er/GZO in order to confirm that the optimum sinteringtemperature.Through orthogonal test, one may find that there exists assignable interaction betweend Ui g i X a d bYai Yhe YWe d gWaUh f d Ui g i X’ i UacY U^cW^XYa i e Xa U eXYb/Er/GZO, from which the concentration range of doping ions can be identified. Then,based on one factor tests on polycrystalline samples Yb/Er/GZO and luminescencespectrum tests on samples obtained, the optimum doping concentration of Ga3+、Yb3+、Er3+can be finalized relatively.It can be inferred that green and red emissions from the up-conversation spectrumwere a two-photon process through testing upconversion luminescence spectrum and powercurve of the polycrystalline samples Yb/Er/GZO and analyzing its upconversion luminousmechanism.2H11/2,3S3/2'4I15/2expresses the corresponding energy level transition ofupconversion green light emission; and4F9/2'4I15/2expresses the corresponding energylevel transition of upconversion red light emission. When the concentration of Er ions ishigher, the phaenomenon of cross relaxation among adjacent Er ions may exist.From the up-conversion life-time tests, it informs that the life time of red light is137.2μX a d Yhe ife Yi e f gWee ighY iX129.0μX. The facY YhaY Yhe Xh WYeW ife Yi e fgWee ighY c UaWed\iYh Wed ighY’X a d Yhe e]iXYe ce f cW XX We a]aYi ead Y Yhe WeXZ Yof higher intensity of up-c [eWXi Wed ighY Yha gWee ighY’X.The result of Ultraviolet-Visible (UV) absorption spectrum test indicated that UV-Visabsorption edge first red-moved to a later blue-shift as Er doping concentration increasing,from which the placeholder situation of doping ions can be analyzed. Through calculatingand analyzing the coordinate of CIE, it can be inferred that the up-conversion fluorescenceis monochromatic orange light, and with increasing concentration of Er3+, the coordinate ofCIE of up-conversion fluorescence spectra remains the same after moving to the green light.It further confirms that the phenomenon of cross relaxation among adjacent Er ions whenthe ionic concentration is higher.
