In this paper, P507for the extraction agent, Sm3+and Zn2+mixed solution was used asfeed liquid. By study the liquid acidity, organic saponification degree, concentration ofZn2+, mixing time and effect of the feed add NH4Cl on single-stage extraction efficiency ofZn2+and Sm3+. Meanwhile, by study hydrochloric acid, hydrochloric acid added NH4Cl,SmCl3solution, SmCl3added NH4Cl was used as washing for Sm3+and Zn2+load organicphase single-stage experiments, determination Zn2+and Sm3+extraction rate, separationfactor, stripping rate, according to single-stage experimental optimal conditions conductextraction separation cascade experiments for Sm3+and Zn2+,reduction extraction raffinateseparation of europium.By using1.5mol/L P507-kerosene as organic phase single-stage extraction of the feedwithout adding NH4Cl experiment results showed: the optimal process parameters of theextraction separation of Sm3+and Zn2+were obtained. Organic saponification degree was0.54mol/L, the feed acidity was0.15mol/L, the phase ratio O/A was3:1, the mixing timewere more than4minutes. The separation factor of Sm3+and Zn2+βSm/Znwas12.32; Whenthe feed add NH4Cl, the optimal process parameters of the extraction separation ofSm3+and Zn2+were obtained. Organic saponification degree was0.54mol/L, the feedacidity was0.15mol/L, the phase ratio O/A was more than3:1, the mixing time were8minutes. The separation factor of Sm3+and Zn2+βSm/Znwas39.31.0.5mol/L HCl was used as washing liquor, the phase ratio O/A was2:1. the optimalwashing rate of Zn2+was72.86%;0.5mol/L HCl solution adding3mol/L NH4Cl was usedas washing liquor, washing rate of Zn2+was94.89%;0.5mol/L SmCl3solution was used aswashing liquor, washing rate of Zn2+was92.35%;0.5mol/L SmCl3solution adding3mol/L NH4Cl was used as washing liquor, washing rate of Zn2+reached100%.The results showed that Zn2+and Sm3+cascade experiment had optimal extractioneffect.When feed liquid and washing liquor added3mol/L NH4Cl, extraction stages was10, the ratio of flow was Vs:VF:Vw=3.71:1:0.5, the aqueous phase can be obtained ZnOcontaining Sm2O3<0.01%, the organic phase can be obtained Sm2O3containing ZnO<0.01%. Sm3+and Zn2+was completely separated.The results of the cascade experiment of RE3+and Zn2+in the stripping raffinate ofextraction separation reduction europium showed: When feed liquid and washing liquoradded3mol/L NH4Cl, extraction stages was11, the aqueous phase can be obtained ZnOcontaining RE2O3<0.01%, the organic phase can be obtained RE2O3containingZnO<0.01%.
