So far, the substance composed of the carbon element, including amorphouscarbon and crystalline carbon. Crystalline carboncan be divided into: graphite, diamond, buckyballs, carbon nanotubes, and graphene. Due to its unique nature, graphene andcarbon nanotubes were two-dimensional and one-dimensional nanomaterials, from itsbeginning by the widespread attention and quickly became the research focus ofresearchers. In this paper the effect of experimental process on the field emission characteristicsof carbon nano tube films were studied, the optimal experimental conditions ofmicrowave plasma chemical vapor deposition system(MPCVD) on the field emissionproperties of carbon nanotube films were determined, and carbon nanotube films withintensive surface morphology and low turn-on field were prepared. And we analysiscarbon nanotube films prepared on the optimal experimental conditions by using SEM,Raman spectroscopy and other detection tools. In addition to this, we study theinfluence of substrate on the microstructure and the properties of carbon nanotube fieldemission, and explain the corresponding experimental results. At last, we preparedgraphene film on thin copperplate with MPCVD system, texting their structure and thefield emission characteristics. The specific research works were as following:1、Optimization of preparing condition for carbon nano tube films. The surfacemorphology and micro-structure of substrates and the experimental conditions ofMPCVD such as microwave power, reaction pressure, temperature, CH4/H2flow ratio, deposition time have directly effect on the FE properties of carbon nanotube films. Inthis paper main research contents on the effect of experimental conditions includingreaction pressure, CH4/H2flow ratio, deposition time on the FE properties of carbonnanotube film.2、We prepared carbon nanotube on thin Cu film and Mo/Cu film substrates withMPCVD system, texting their structure and the field emission characteristics to studythe influence of substrate on the microstructure and the properties of carbon nanotubefield emission, and explain the corresponding experimental results.3、We prepared graphene films on thin copperplate substrates with MPCVDsystem, texting their structure and the field emission characteristics.
