Global warming leads to terrible weather, polar melting glaciers, rise sea levels, seriousdamage to the global environment, and cause to a more frequent natural disasters,affect thesurvival and development of society.In2009, the Chinese government promised at the Copenhagen climate summit: theintensity of energy consumption in2020will decline40%to50%. Architecture is animportant source of carbon emissions, as an important part of the national economy, theconstruction industry to the national economy plays an important role in promoting andconstraints.This paper based on the analysis of numerous domestic and reading relevant literature,combined the extensive use of international carbon footprint lifecycle assessment (LCA)theory and building construction process of carbon emissions, using inventory analysis andprocess emission factor method,to study and discuss the building construction process carbonemissions accounting methods, building a set of model construction for calculating thecarbon footprint of the construction process, and apply this model to calculate the actualengineering building construction process carbon footprint, and concluded the case ofbuilding construction process the carbon footprint of each stage, then gives the suggestion ofreducing carbon emissions in building construction process and technology managementstrategies.To research and analysis the process of building construction carbon footprint conduct,we can provide a reference for the construction of low-carbon construction technology andmanagement improvements, but also that the government, coorporation and institutionalmanagers to identify and develop low-carbon and the low-carbon environmental constructionpolicies and regulations to provide a theoretical basis and data support, thus contributing toenergy conservation, environmental protection, to change global climate and reduct achieveenergy in the construction industry, it is very important to promote sustainable economic andsocial development of the country.
