Warped deformation of plastic products is one of the main factors affecting the productquality and precision. Due to its intrinsic structural characteristics, the degree of warpeddeformation of an unequal thickness plastic product is large during the injection moldingprocess. In order to decrease the warped deformation of unequal thickness plastic productsand improve their quality and precision, the research for warped deformation of unequalthickness plastic parts and corresponding compensation technology for mold parting surfaceis introduced.In this paper, the unequal thickness plastic parts are studied. The injection moldingprocess of plastic products is simulated through finite-element software, the warpeddeformation of plastic products is improved via optimizing process parameters, andpre-deformation compensation technology is introduced to reduce the degree of productwarped deformation on base of injection process performance optimization. The maincontents and conclusions are included as:(1)Moldflow software is used to simulate the injection molding process. Afteroptimizing the plastic part injection process performance based on the software analysisresults, the warped deformation of plastic parts can be reduced.(2)The warped deformation of products is improved by adopting a pre-deformationcompensation method.
