Energy depletion is one of faced and urgent solved major topics of today’s world. In contrast to battery, supercapacitors have higher power density, better cyclingstability, wider temperature controlling range and environmentally friendly advantage, thus widely recognized by relevant researchers. In contrast to chemical oxidation, themethod of in-situ electropolymerization for preparation of carbon-conductingpolymers composite do not rely on templates, specific dopants and post-synthetictreatments, in addition, the purity and amount of the prepared products is higher. Inthis paper, we prepared paper-like carbon material/conducting polymer compositesthrough in-situ electropolymerization.(1) A piece of carbon nanotube paper was used as the working electrode and aplatinum sheet served as the counter-electrode, all potential values were recordedversus the Ag/AgCl reference electrode filled with saturated KCl solution, electrolytewas aniline solution. Carbon nanotube paper/PANI composites had been obtainedthrough electropolymerization under a certain deposition voltage of0.75V. SEMimages suggested the composite possesses tremendous specific surface area.According to a series of electrochemical testings including of cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge-discharge test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, incontrast to pure carbon nanotube paper, the composite has more superiorelectrochemical properties.(2) Similarly, a piece of carbon nanotube paper was used as the workingelectrode, We can obtain PPY/carbon nanotube paper nanocomposite in pyrrolesolution under a certain deposition voltage of0.7V. It compared relevantelectrochemical properties when different electrolytes and counter-electrodes wereadopted respectively. Electrochemical properties of composite varied when depositedunder different reference electrodes. (3) Pieces of flexible graphite paper were used as the working electrode and aplatinum sheet served as the counter-electrode, all potential values were recordedversus the Ag/AgCl reference electrode filled with saturated KCl solution. Weobtained PCs/flexible graphite paper composites through electropolymerization indifferent concentrations of aniline(pyrrole) solution under different deposition time, and compared their electrochemical properties. In contrast to pure flexible graphitepaper, it was found the specific capacitance and electrical conductivity of depositedcomposite became significantly higher.
