| In the process of micro milling, geometry structure parameter of micro milling tool and micromilling process parameter are two of the most important factors in performance of micro millingprocess. The concept of effective rake angle was introduced for the problem of arc cutting edgeparticipating in cutting under conditions of mesoscopic scale in this paper. Finally, evaluatingcriteria of micro milling tool was established.1. Effective rake angle of blunt milling under mesoscopic scale on the influence of micromilling process was analyzed. With cutting force equivalent of micro milling as criteria of rakeangle equivalent condition, effective angle distribution of micro milling tools with-10°and10°rake angle was studied under in the different ηvalue.2. Micro milling tool evaluating criteria system was established. In this evaluating criteriasystem, evaluation object contains geometric structure parameters of micro milling tool and micromilling process parameters. With micro milling evaluation target (milling force, burr, surfaceroughness) as the guidance, using evaluation index method to establish criterion of the micromilling evaluation result.3. Polyhedral structure micro milling tools that developed by micro milling laboratory weretested on micro milling experiment. According to the micro milling assessment criteria to themicro milling, results of the evaluation of test were obtained based on evaluation target. Finally,based on the results of evaluation, combined with effective angle theory of micro milling tool, Putforward the guiding opinions for chooses of geometric structure parameters of micro milling tooland micro milling process parameters. |
