Microwave is the wavelength of 1mm-1m, corresponding to a frequency of 300MHz-300GHz electromagnetic waves, in the case of the electromagnetic spectrum, ultra-high frequency electromagnetic waves, electromagnetic waves in this frequency range have been successfully applied in industry, television, microwave communications, radar and satellite communications.Microwave has wide applications in industrial and agricultural production. Microwave technology has been used widely in the textile industry, for its energy-saving features,has become one of the hot high-tech development of textile.The paper designed 20GB microwave yarn setting machine, explored the effect of the factors affecting yarn setting using cotton yarns and comparised microwave steaming yarn and yarn steaming effect. The study includes the following:(1) Experimental instrument design related improvements in performance testing and equipment:microwave frequency of choice, the choice of transformer and the microwave cavity area after repeated selection of these are arguments to conclude. Through the microwave region uneven nature of microwave testing of the equipment proposed improvements and equipment related to power-related aspects of testing and optimization of rotary speed.
