During studying of geochemical data processing the main issue is to discriminate between geochemical anomaly and background and find out geochemical abnormous information from it. This paper makes the 1:50000 stream sediment analyzed data which had got in the working area as the studying object and does pre-processing with data such as deleting outline points, standardization and gridding. Based on it, the traditional mathematical geology methods, such as cluster analysis and principal factor analysis, were effectively applied to study the symbiosis and association of 15 elements in the study-area. And it has been got the symbiosis combination elements in close ties with Nickel. The studied results show that Factor 1 account for 22.23 percent of the variance contribution after the orthogonal rotation. This value is the largest. It mainly reflected in element association about Ni-Zn-Cu-Fe-Co. These elements which are all pro-sulfur elements may represent the association of metallogenic elements.Using the traditional method of geostatistics and“Sub-classified according to geological body”methods, the anomaly has been respectively identified. The results have proved that the method of“Sub-classified according to geological body”can avoid the influence of geologic factors upon geochemical background. The anomaly has important practical significance for the following work.Combining with ore-forming geological conditions and geochemical anomalies author use GeoExpl and GIS technology to predict the comprehensive appraisal of mineral resource under the guidance of the modern theory of mineralizing. There have four first-grade preferable ore prospecting areas made. While with the constraint of prior deposits information, only two of these four preferable areas are selected as the prospection of ore-forming area, which is useful information for the further work of prospecting the nickel deposit.
