The total area of Xinjiang Sha’erhu coal field is 2000km2, have currently about 89.2billion tons of proven resources, predict the amount of more than 100 billion tons of resources,is one of the largest coal field in our country.In the exploration of coal resources, often using a variety of techniques and exploration tools, access to many survey results. However, each technology has its exploration of different strengths and weaknesses, and how to realize the complementary advantages of different survey methods, the rational use of a variety of outcomes exploration, and promote the integration of different technologies, to improve the accuracy of exploration results, and to play a comprehensive survey the largest and most good effect, is a coal geological exploration work is very important and urgent.In this paper, Sha’erhu mine area(a part of Sha’erhu coalfield) for the study area, based on the analysis of geological and hydrogeological conditions in the region on the use of geological mapping methods, drilling, geophysical logging, two-dimensional seismic,pumping experiment, sample testing integrated exploration method, multiple parallel exploration technology, integration of research and various exploration data and results obtained compared to traditional single exploration methods more real, more reliable exploration and research, to the coal resources precise control, improve the accuracy of survey findings. Research methods and results have certain guiding significance for coal exploration Sha’erhu other areas, while areas of similar geological conditions of coal geological exploration methods and the results of the application of technology provides a new way of thinking.
