Water resource is an indispensable valuable resource for human survival. human life and production activities are closely related to water resources.Groundwater is one of the important components of water resources. Which is the main source of water supply in life and industrial and agricultural production for the arid and semiarid in Northwest Region in our country.In order to solve the demand of water resource in the social and economic development of the Yili and the development of mineral resources and the construction of the coal chemical industry base, we need to carry out the hydrogeological environment geological survey, To provide a scientific basis for social and economic development, Construction of energy and chemical industry base,groundwater exploitation and ecological environment protection. The purpose of this study is to use remote sensing technology to effectively overcome the constraints of the terrain, climate and other conditions of the traditional hydrogeological exploration. it will save human resources and capital investment in the field survey. To provide a quick and effective method for the investigation of groundwater resources.In this paper, take the Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County in Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture as the study area, Combined thermal infrared remote sensing technology and field investigation, to analyzed and study the distribution of shallow groundwater in Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County. This study uses Landsat OLI_TIRS remote sensing data, we take radiative transfer equation method to carry on the surface temperature inversion in the study area. We can get surface temperature distribution image, by means of the relationship between the surface temperature and the soil moisture content and correlation between surface temperature and ground water level.Combining with a large number of vegetation, water, soil, geology, geomorphology and other field survey of geological factors in the study area, Faster and more efficient the delineation of groundwater in the study area "shallow zone"( The area of underground water buried depth less than 5m), And we use the measured water level provided by the late drilling engineering to verify the delineation of groundwater "shallow zone". To Provide a reliable guarantee for the accuracy of the results.This study provides several groundwater shallow buried, to the Hydrogeological exploration person make the further exploration of the water source. At the same time, it also points out the direction for the research area in the field of hydrology and geology exploration. Makes reference for similar hydrogeological investigation, To provide a scientific basis for social and economic development, Construction of energy and chemical industry base,groundwater exploitation and ecological environment protection.
