The intensification of land desertification and human to land over exploitation and irrational use of the relationship, the intensification of desertification has affected the social and economic development and people’s life, so the study of desertification is urgent. In the last 12 years, the research area was developed as the Nanchang City, Xinjian County. The main line of the tourist area was sampled, and the grain size characteristics of the surface sediments were analyzed. After the analysis of effective sample size parameters and components, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)All the sample particle size showed that Hou Tian desert tourism scenic area surface sediments mainly composed of medium sand and coarse sand composition on the whole content accounted for 76.44% of the total volume, the range of variation for 74%-82%. Fine sand and coarse sand in the composition of the geomorphic units are extreme cases, such extreme cases reflect their differences in the environment of. Reflect the grain size parameters of the data, the moderate sorting, skewness is nearly symmetric, kurtosis narrow and did not appear to be extremely high or extremely low, illustrate this. Although the geomorphic units of the environment is different, but the difference is not large.(2)In at the windward slope of sand dune surface sediments, no silt and clay fractions. And at 20 cm depth in the same place, a trace of silt and clay fractions, indicating that the windward slope of the main force to wind erosion, the amount of visitors on the battlefield of Waterloo could lead to an important factor in the abnormal changes of the geomorphic units of sediment grain size distribution.(3)Non artificial interference of the fixed dune(Xiepo) in surface sediments of silt content is lower than that of Nebkhas, Nebkhas with vegetation can intercept the finer particles and prevent the fine particles of the long distance transportation. As vast scenic area of geomorphic unit, Nebkhas for windbreak and sand fixation effect is very obvious, should strengthen the protection of many Nebkhas.(4)Therefore, the artificial interference Pingsha strong impact on the ecological environment of the most strongly by artificial interference, ecological environment is the most vulnerable areas, exclusive travel channel establishment will greatly reduce the artificial factors.(5)As viewed from the vegetation distribution and Xiepo, the windward slope of Nebkhas area of small, low height, and leeward slope is often a film distribution, other sand height. Sand table has been completely covered by vegetation, the content of silt is the highest, and the ecological environment protection is the most complete.
