Complex reservoir always have the characteristics of various types of mineral, complex reservoir space types, and strong heterogeneity, which make a great trouble for fluid identification. To meet the requirements of complex reservoir exploration and development, looking for fluid identification method suitable for complex reservoir is particularly important.Based on the above background, in-depth research on fluid identification was carried out in three blocks of complex reservoir. Taking conventional logging and array sonic logging data as the foundation, as well as geological and logging information, seven kinds of fluid identification methods of complex reservoir were put forward according to the features of each block complex reservoir. Application effects of each method are contrastively analyzed combing with practical logging information. In terms of conventional log, three kinds of methods were proposed on the basis of resistivity and porosity curves, which are porosity curve of gas reservoir recognition method, porosity and resistivity cross plot, resistivity ratio and density of intersection cross plot. In array acoustic logging, fluid modulus method based on Gassmann equation is studied firstly, and its application effect was validated by practical situation. Then in consideration of different acoustic logging responses of different reservoir, fluid sensitivity analyses of different elastic parameters were performed. And on this basis, a fluid identification factor was build. Combined with cross plots method, it was used in fluid identification of three blocks of complex reservoir. In the comprehensive prediction research of fluid properties, multivariate statistical analysis methods, such as principal component analysis and cluster analysis, are applied to establish a comprehensive method of fluid identification in complex reservoir.These fluid identification methods above have applied in three blocks, whose effects are remarkable. Because of considering the characteristics of the complex reservoir from a different point of view, these methods have good adaptability to complex reservoir, which has reached the anticipated target.
