In the paper, the equivalent stiffness of orthotropic plates including corrugated plate and square wave plate is analyzed. The details are as follows:Based on Kirchhoff theory, the small deflection b ending equation of orthotropic plate is solved. As to the plate which suffers simply supported constraints and uniform pressure load, the equation solution is achieved by using the Navier method. Besides, the solution under concentrated load is obtained according to the Navier method and calculus concept. The small deflection bending problem of corrugated plate and square wave plate suffering simply supported constraints and uniform pressure load is simulated by using ANSYS. However, there are five parameters to decide the equivalent stiffness. They are half wave length, wave height, thickness of plate, material elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio respectively. Then, we use the single variable method to obtain the relationship between the deflection and various parameters. By substituting the Seydel’s equivalent stiffness parameters D1 and D3 into the deflection formula, the relationship between D2 and the deflection can be calculated, besides, formula about D2 is fitted. By listing a few examples, such as change boundary conditions, load types and two groups of edge length ratio, verify the accuracy of fitting the D2 formulas. The natural vibration characteristics of orthotropic plates are explored. When the vibration mode functions are expressed as the trigonometric series and four edges of the plate are simply supported. The natural frequencies and corresponding vibration modes are obtained. We do the theoretical analysis about the natural frequency analysis of corrugated plate and square wave plate and compare the results simulated by ANSYS. Then, the influence of wave height and half wavelength of different thickness plates to natural frequency is discussed and the corresponding graph is described.
