East Tianshan Jueluotage tectonic belt is between the Tarim plate and Junggar plate, North to the North Kangguer fault for the sector adjacent the Junggar Plate, and sperated with Middle Tianshan by the Aqickudoc at South. This tectonic belt within strong orogeny, is one of the ideal areas to study the the East Tianshan orogenic belt. This paper selected Xinjiang Eastern Tianshan Bailingshan rock mass and the surrounding area mineralization potential survey project as the support to explore Bailingshan areas in the Jueluotage tectonic belt geotectonic evolution characteristics in Late Paleozoic Carboniferous. On the basis of fully collection predecessors’ research date and combination the field geological work, this paper comprehensive analyze regional geological setting, sedimentology, petrology and geochemical characteristics. The theory of plate tectonics and continental dynamics as a guide, this paper elaborates tectonic environment and geotectonic evolution of Carboniferous period in Bailingshan areas. The main findings are as follows:(1)Carboniferous volcanic rocks are widespread and the rocks are various types in the study area. Yamansu Formation volcanic rocks formed island arc in Early Carboniferous which Kangguer Oceanic subduct to the north.Dikan’er Formation is the one which Kangguer subducted into the rear of Yamansu island arc and produce the so high heat at here that melt the crust to form the Dikan’er calc-alkaline island marginal arc volcanic rocks.(2)The widespread granites formed between 315Ma-298 Ma, which equals to Late Carboniferous- Early Permian. Via the analysis of the biggest intruded monzonitic granite rock in Bailingshan pluton, we can get that Bailingshan monzonitic granite is the one which experienced a strong differentiation metaluminous high-K calc-alkaline I-type granites. It formed in the plate collision later period or the stage after collision.(3)Since early Devonian, Kangguer ocean begin to shrink and subduct to the north Tu-Ha plate which formed Dananhu-Tousuquan island arc belt. Kangguer ocean begin to two-side subduct and formed Aqishan-Yamansu island arc belt in the south from the early Carboniferous. Meanwhile, the north subduction formed Qieshan island arc in the front of Dananhu island arc, which formed the pattern of island arc-oceanic basin-island arc.Subduction gradually strengthened in the middle late Carboniferous, Eventually led to the north and south sides of island arc in the form of soft docking collision. From late Carboniferous to early Permian, Bailingshan area get into the post collision stretch stage. The lithosphere occur extensional collapse and thining under itsr own gravity. Crustal pressure decreases and melt which induce sharp magmatic ctivity and forming a widespeard range of intermediate-acid rocks magmatic rocks in the area.
