Electron-atoms(or ions) collision plays a very important role in the study of atomic structure.Photoionization processes and Autoionization processes will be appeared in the process of electron-atoms(or ions) collisions. Photoionization data and Autoionization data have a very important application in astrophysics, plasma physics, atmospheric science, radiation physics and chemistry. At the same time, in the experiment of the plasma system the study of Photoionization and Autoionization processes also have important significance. But not all of Photoionization processes and Autoionization processes could research by experiment. Theoretical research is important in order to study for Photoionization and Autoionization.In this paper, the relativistic distorted wave method with intermediate coupling is used to research Autoionization of Rb Ⅰ. Used sixteen configurations to study the atomic structure of Rb Ⅰ. Obtained 420 fine-structure levels generated from sixteen configurations as well as the line strengths, oscillator strengths, radiative decay rates and radiation wavelength of the 420 fine-structure levels. Atomic structure data is compared with the available experimental and the theoretical results, what’s more, the largest relative error compared with experiment is less than 2.3%. Fine-structure collision strengths for transitions from the ground 4p65 s 2S1/2 are presented at five electron energies(1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, and3.5 Ryd);In my paper,Photoionization cross sections for grand state ionization of Rb Ⅰ are calculated for using the R-matrix method in LS-coupling approximation. The R-matrix is carried out for Rb Ⅰ of the photoionizaton cross sections.It firstly got photon energy region from the 4p55s(3P)to 4p54d(1P)(energy:1-1.84(Ry))of Rb Ⅰ. We has got energy level and widths of 18 Rydberg series, through the combination of R-matrix and QB methods, whose label has labeled on the photoionizaton cross sections tables.
