PⅠ1-2 reservoir of Sanan Development Area in Daqing Oilfield deposites large riversdelta in northern Songliao Basin,with interbedded sandstone and mudstone deposited and thin layer thickness, layer, inner layer and plane heterogeneity is serious. With years of oil exploitation, we have entered an advanced stage of high water cut, therefore, to carry out studies of reservoir sedimentation patterns, deepen the understanding of the geological characteristics can further improve the effect of oilfield development.In this paper with the understanding of Putaohua reservoir geological characteristics in Sanan Development Area, based on the sedimentology theory, comprehensive use of drilling, logging and core data, and test analysis data, using the fine reservoir description technology, we make the depositional time unit sand body thickness isoline map, sandy than isoline figure, formation thickness isoline map, sedimentary microfacies, through of maps is analyzed and researched in detail, to restore the ancient landform in the study area, heavy mineral analysis of PⅠ2 reservoir, ultimately determine the main source directions from the North depositional system, recognition of the PortugueseⅠ1-2 reservoir sedimentary environment. The maximum possible geometric shapes, contact relation and spatial distribution of various types of sand bodies are summarized, and the sedimentary evolution patterns and sedimentary evolution rules of each sedimentary unit are finally obtained. Inquiry study area reservoir layer and sedimentary features of the differences between the north and the south of and summed up the thickness of sand geometry, river cut stack, main channel thickness of sand differences between the north and the South and inheritance, large contemporaneous fault and combination and palaeogeomorphology and other factors on the specific effect.The deeper understanding of geological characteristics and evolution of sedimentary in Sanan Development Area can provide a solid knowledge base for fine geology dissection and oil tapping potential, provide a strong basis to evaluate the preferred location of wells, oil and gas reserves calculations, improve the development plan, find the rich region of remaining oil, even play the decision-making effect for improving the result of oilfield development ultimately.
