Logging symbols are important auxiliary data in the logging data processing and interpretation system. They are used to directly reflect a series of information,such as stratum structure, lithology, oiliness, etc. in the logging figure,and they play an extremely important role in assisting oilfield to make stratum evaluation and mining design. In logging processing and interpretation system, efficiently editing and managing a large and growing number of logging symbols, providing comprehensive symbol data support and high-quality application effect for logging interpretation, it is a very important task, and has a very high value of application.This paper takes providing efficient logging symbol visualization editing management scheme, fast and high-quality logging symbol application effect as the goal. First, it starts with solving high efficiency transformation problems of the logging vector symbols to concrete XML data, and then creates an efficient file storage model of logging symbol data, finally, uses the research results to system implementation. The specific research contents are summarized as follows:1. Analyzing the limitations of using the existing SVG basic elements and organization methods to describe the logging symbol, proposing a description element that can be replaced and a set of layout organization scheme, this effectively solves the problems of data redundancy between the logging symbols and the internal data redundancy of logging symbol in the process of transforming logging symbol from vector graphic to XML data, and then establishes the suitable logging vector symbol basic information model and information organization model, providing a theoretical guidance for completing the visualization editing of logging symbol.2. For the data storage problem of logging symbols, on the basis of comparing and analyzing a variety of XML data storage schemes, this paper proposes a logging symbol file storage model based on NXD(Native XML Database), through specific experiments, comparing the symbol data storage efficiency under different storage granularity, it chooses the middle granularity of the logging symbol data storage scheme, and finishes the establishment of the model, accomplishes the efficient storage of logging symbol data; And then, for the realization of the symbol data in the actual environment of rapid application, this paper establishes an efficient indexing scheme for the storage model, and finally makes related experiments to validate that the scheme has a high efficiency.3. This paper applies the results achieved in research to system practice, designs and implements a logging vector symbol visualization editing and managing system on CIFLog platform. Through the way of visual operation, it completes the work of the logging symbols transformation to XML data, and implements the efficient management and rapid, high-quality application of the logging symbol data.
