Suspended particle size is an important marine optical parameter. In Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea,suspended particle size plays an important role in marine biogeochemical processes and ocean color remote sensing, since a large quantity of sediments dominate water composition in this study area. And its distribution of research will help to deepen understanding of the marine environment.(1) Using 201405,201411 and 201508 three cruises match measured optical data establish, based on GOCI, MODIS and MERIS three satellite band, novel inversion models are developed to estimate the diameter (D25,D50,D75) of suspended particle sizes, by means of remote sensing reflectance(Rrs). Test the model of inversion accuracy and sensitivity and analyze the abnormal data. In General, the model based on GOCI and MODIS is better than MERIS, and the inversion of D25 and D50 model is better than D75 model.(2) Showing particle size distribution Based on the GOCI monthly synthetic data, accuracy of inversion data and the measured data, and analysis of three kinds of grain size of monthly variation and interannual variation, the results show that, inversion error of three kinds of grain size in the low value area and high value area are bigger than the middle part of value, the results show that the diameters and variation range of suspended particles increas from near-shore region to off-shore waters. Suspended particle diameter in the first half of this year is less than in the second half of the year, with small interannual variability and no significant changes in the law.(3) Based on the measured data Research the relationship between the suspension particle volume concentration, particle number concentration, particle size with optical parameters of the inherent optical properties (mainly attenuation coefficient and backscattering coefficient of suspended particulate matter); Establishing spectral model, and discussing the applicability of the model. The results show that the backscattering coefficient of suspended particulate matter is better correlated with the optical parameters, the attenuation coefficient and the volume concentration and particle number concentration is good, and the correlation between the particle size and the particle size is poor.
