The objective of this study is to support the ongoing adipogenesis research and contribute to discovery of key regulatory genes and pathways. Methods in this study include three steps: 1. Information mining. For Literature Search we built a set of queries by entering 47 key genes in adipogenesis, and contexts ‘adipo* differen*’.Then the query set was submitted to PubMed; 9908 resulting documents were retrieved, parsed into sentences, and analyzed for known interaction terms; Associations were then converted into interactions with corresponding sentences and added to a Cytoscape network; 2.Information processing and analysis. The reviewers verified the specific genes, microRNAs and their relationships recognized in the abstracts; Marked the parameters of nodes and relations to the adipogenesis regulation network; Calculated IF of nodes based on the data in ARN database; Collected the TF-target and miR-target prediction relations from PAZAR, TRRUST and miRGate. 3. Information storage and Visualization. The ARN Database is a Microsoft SQL Server relational database; Website is built on.NET and HTML5; For interactive data visualization, we applied D3; 4.Dynamic analysis tool design. We designed a professional analysis tool base on the user’s various screening and analysis demand. We constructed a adipogenesis regulation network database(URL :http://210.27.80.93/am/). In total, 3054 nodes, 1807 relations, and 10675 expression records associated with adipogenesis according to 1457 papers were collected. Additionally, we further determined 12696 possible relations of these nodes due to miRGate, PAZAR and TRRUST. 2. We marked the information of nodes and articles to the adipogenesis regulation network, and visualized the complex network information. 3. We provided a professional analysis tool for users based on the data of ARN database. The data of ARN database was collected from 6 public database, this platform is an information center that is quickly and easily accessible to researchers in this field. It can support the ongoing adipogenesis research and contribute to discovery of key regulatory genes and pathways.
