Super pp collider (SPPC) is the key part of the circular high energy e+e- collider (CEPC) and the future circular high energy super pp collider (SPPC), so called CEPC-SPPC, which is planned to be built in China proposed by Chinese scholars. The designed center of mass energy of the proton beam in SPPC can be 70 to 100 TeV and the peak luminosity will be up to 1.2×1035 cm-2·s-1, which can make SPPC be a center for the research of Higgs. The SS ring is the last one of the four-stage injection chain for the collider and has an independent function. Its circumference is about 7.2 km. The energy of the injection proton beam is designed to be 180 GeV and the extracted proton beam energy will be 2.1 TeV. The proton beam in the SS ring will be injected in the double ring for the collision, therefore the quality of the beam in the SS ring will directly affect the beam performance of the collision. This report carries out the primary exploration on the pre-concept design of the SS Lattice, and makes some achievements.The discovery of Higgs has made a great effect on the particle physics field, and also proposed new development requirements to the standard physical model. It is also simply described about the production and decay of Higgs. The particularities of Higgs make it uneasy to measure its properties. This requires supports from higher performance collider. High-energy particle colliders make the center of mass energy be improved greatly, which will help to find new particles and research new reactors. China’s CEPC-SPPC came into being in this condition.Preliminary study on conceptual design of SS ring Lattice is given in this paper. Firstly, it is described about the main parameters and an overall layout of the SS ring. Then, two dedicated Lattice:SSH and SSV, using Half-bend and Missing-bend dispersion suppressor, are given in detail, which are designed for fast longitudinal extraction scheme in horizontal direction and in vertical direction, respectively. Finally, closed orbit deviations of SSH and SSV caused by momentum deviation are analyzed, and it is concluded that the Lattices are usable preliminarily. |
