The eastern Nanling region is one of the most famous tungsten-tin polymetallic metallogenic provinces, which includs the southeast of Hunan province, the south of Jiangxi province and the north of Guangdong province. The eastern Nanling region with longitude from 111° to 114° and latitude from 24° to 25° has a 6.4 km2 area. In this paper, the Dayu tungsten deposit in Jiangxi, the Xihuashan-Piaotang tungsten ore field, the Gannan tungsten ore concentration area and the eastern Nanling tungsten-tin Mineralization subbelt are selected to study. According to anomaly analysis of regional geochemical survey, sveral conclusions are obtained as followings:The indicator elements of regional geochemical prospecting in Dayu tungsten depost, Jiangxi are: W, Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Ag, As, Li, Be, Th, U and Y totaling 15, where W has a 7 level’s anomaly; Bi, Be and Y have 5 level’s anomaly; Pb, Ag and Li have 3 level’s anomaly; and Cu, Zn, Cd, As and U have 2 level’s anomaly. The indicator elements of regional geochemical prospecting in Xihuashan-Piaotang tungsten ore field are:W, Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Ag, As, Li, Be and Y totaling 13, where W has a 7 level’s anomaly; Be has a 5 level’s anomaly; the anomaly of Sn, Mo and Bi is between 4 and 5; the anomaly of Cu, Pb, Ag, Li and Y is between 3 and 4; and the anomaly of Zn, Cd and As is between 2 and 3.The indicator elements of regional geochemical prospecting in Gannan tungsten ore concentration area are: W, Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Ag, As, Li, Be and Y totaling 13, where the average anomaly intensity of W is 6-7; Sn and Bi are between 4-5; Mo, Cu,Ag and Be are between 3-4;Pb, Cd and As are between 2-3; and Zn, Li and Y are between 1-2.The indicator elements of regional geochemical prospecting in the eastern Nanlingmineralization subbelt are: W, Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Pb, Cd, Ag, As, Li and Be totaling 11, where the average anomaly intensity of W is 5-7; Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Pb, Cd, Ag and Be are between 3-5; and As and Li are between 1-3.Based on the results above, an geochemical exploration model for tungsten deposits based on regional geochemical suvey is illustrated which is suitable to geochemical exploration in different scals from deposit to mineralization subbelt.
