The technology of positioning and timing in Global Position System has been widely used in various industries, especially in a variety of civilian applications, such as communication networks, smart grid, transportation and civil aviation fields. However, GPS signal is very weak when transmitted to the ground, which has been lead to much interference. In all kinds of interference, spoofing is the most harmful, because of its covert nature and similarity structure with the real signals. They can produce a false GPS signal in the attack to the target receiver to mislead positioning errors by recognize this signal. Therefore, the study of GPS spoofing becomes a very important work, which will provide support for the study of anti-spoofing technology, also can provide some protection for national security. In the existing research and published literature, the literature on GPS spoofing is rarely, especially about how to stabilize their deception signal Synchronization in the target receiver. In this study, the analysis of how to capture the target receiver’s capture loops and ultimately control the tracking loops, and gives the structure of how to generate spoofing signals and the composition of each part, calculate the compensation for the spoofing signals, and analysis how these compensation errors affect the receiver process, to find how to control the error range to avoid detection under common spoofing detection measures. Finally, the use of simulation experiment platform demonstrated the foregoing analysis. The main contents of this paper are summarized as follows:1. Introduces classify of GPS spoofing, analysis of the current public spoofing detection techniques, and summarizes the scenarios and the limitations of spoofing and detection techniques;2. Establish the spoofing scene, given spoofing signal generation process, summarize the errors of signal generation and calculating time errors to be compensated;3. Analyzes the signal acquisition conditions of receiver and the effects of the added spoofing signal to receiver’s capture loop, and analyze the interaction results of spoofing signals and real satellite signal at the target receiver, given the power control scheme;4. Given two tracking strategy for spoofing, analyzes the influence of added spoofing signal to the receiver’s tracking loop, discussed how to adjust spoofing signal to control tracking loop gradually, and analyze the changes of the synchronization parameters to tracking outcome through calculation and simulation, results how to reduce these impacts to avoid detection by common spoofing detection measures;5. Semi-physical simulation experiments to verify the feasibility of the signal synchronization scheme introduced above.
