The spatial database of 1:50000 regional hydrogeology survey include two aspects of content, the one is primary data base of field investigation, the other is graphic spatial database of comprehensive result.In order to formulate the standard scheme, firstly start from the purpose and task of hydrogeology survey and then organize and classify the contents of spatial database systematically. Secondly,divide single element from the perspective of hydrological geology and formulate corresponding layer,code and element coding so as to ensure uniqueness, consistency and scalability of layer and code. Finally, The setting of attribute data structure is to describe the nature, state, relation and variation law of the graphic elements, which is based on the integrity of the hydro geological information and the requirement of the comprehensive analysis of the data.Taking Jiang Cang coal mine hydrogeology survey picture space database construction as an example, the 1:50000 digital hydrogeology survey desktop system and Map GIS software was applied to field original information database construction and graphic spatial database construction, which expounds the database construction method and process, verify the feasibility of standardization program.
