As the Xinjiang advantageous mineral products, the lead-zinc mineral is abundant in east region of Tianshan Mountain with super-large Caixia Mountain lead-zinc deposit as the reprehensive. However, there is no similar large-scale deposits in palaeozoic stratum in the west Tianshan Mountains, the discovery of lead-zinc mineral has attracted much attention. Qixing lead-zinc deposit is the new lead-zinc ore deposit discovered the west of Tianshan Mountain and it was considered to be organic composition of lalisgar-3571 ore field. Within the mining area, the lead-zinc ore is distributed from the north to the south. In the mining area, there are also diabase dyke swarms being developed which are similar to occurrence of lead and zinc ore bodies. The paper carries out the work of data collection and collation of the related material in Qixing lead-zinc mining area. Combined with geological phenomena observation of the field, chalcography, diagenesis and mineralization chronology and rock and mineral deposit geochemistry are completed so as to understand the genesis of the Qixing Lead-zinc deposit and provide a useful reference for discovery of lead-zinc deposit in west Tianshan area.In the Qixing lead-zinc ore, the diabase dyke swarm emplacement events in the Yanshan period. Geochemical characteristics of rock show that diabase dyke swarm is formed by part of the melting magma of the residual magma arc emplacing along the mining tensional fault to shallow level.Qixing mining area develops from the ore body of powder sandstone formation and ore cutting wear of diabase of Silurian of Boluo Huo Luo Mountain. Rb-Sr isochron dating results of powder sandstone ore sphalerite show that under the 359.7 ±1.6 Ma, due to the end of rock forming age of cutting diabase ore body(186.2 ± 8.4Ma), metallogenic epoch should be in Yanshan period. Sulfur and lead isotope tracing study of ore deposit in powder sandstone show that The source of ore-forming materials and the adjacent Lalisgar-3571 ore field come from the late Devonian subduction and magma. Mineralization occurs at the end of the late Devonian, reflecting that they should be the same tectonic magmatic hydrothermal products.Whether the Qixing Lead-zinc deposit may develop in the mineralization for two stages in the period of west of Yanshan and the period of Haixi is an important problem to be studied. The dynamic background and ore prospecting potential of the Yanshan mineralization period in the westTianshan Mountain of Xinjiang province are worthy of further research.
